Right to Information
The Right to Information Act, 2005 (22 of 2005) has been enacted by the Parliament and has come into force from 15 June, 2005. This Act provides for right to information for citizens to secure access to information under the control of public authorities in order to promote transparency and accountability.

How to Apply
A person desirous of obtaining information shall make a request in writing under this act (Punjabi/Hindi/English) along with a fee of Rs. 10/- in the form of Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft in favour of RIMT University payable at Mandi Gobindgarh to the Public Information Officer of this university specifying the particulars of the information sought by the person.
