Reflection 26: Annual Art Exhibition 2026 by Department of Fine Arts, RIMT University
The Department of Fine Arts, RIMT University, proudly organized “Reflection 26” – the Annual Art Exhibition 17th April , 2026, showcasing the creative excellence of students from BFA Painting and Applied Arts.
The exhibition featured a diverse and compelling range of artworks, including mixed media compositions, oil paintings, photography, graphic artworks, sketches, portraits, sculptures, crafts, and advertisement designs, reflecting both technical mastery and conceptual depth.
The event was graced by eminent podcaster, poet, and writer Mubarak Sandhu, who attended as the Chief Guest. He highly appreciated the efforts of the students and faculty, remarking that “artists may be fewer in number, but their work carries immense depth and value.” He further emphasized that no artificial intelligence can truly compete with the originality, emotion, and human touch present in authentic artwork, encouraging students to continue creating with sincerity and individuality.
The exhibition was also visited by the Dean Academics, Deans, Heads of Departments, and distinguished faculty members, who applauded the students’ work and recommended organizing such exhibitions more frequently in the future.
A major highlight of the event was the “Best on Show” award, presented to Ms. Tarmanpreet Kaur for her outstanding artwork, recognized for its originality and visual impact.
“Reflection 26” successfully provided a dynamic platform for artistic expression and reaffirmed the Department’s commitment to nurturing creativity and innovation in fine arts education.
