School of Hospitality Management, RIMT University celebrated World Tourism Day on 27th September, 2018 with great favour. UNWTO commemorates World Tourism Day every year to spread tourism awareness and boost tourism activities around the globe.
The department invited Chef Manjot Singh, Entrepreneur and Culinary Expert, to deliver workshop on Molecular Gastronomy to the hotel management students. Molecular Gastronomy is a cooking style that uses scientific technique in cooking. It is one the latest trends of modern cooking.
The event also included numerous competitions like Mocktail Art, Fireless Cooking, Digital Art & Craft and hosted a quiz on Tourism & Hospitality. The students were thrilled to participate in the event and gained valuable knowledge on Molecular Gastronomy.
