Women’s Day Celebration at RIMT University
RIMT University proudly celebrated International Women’s Day with an inspiring event aimed at recognizing and empowering women in various walks of life. The highlight of the occasion was an enlightening panel discussion on “Empowering Women: Challenges and Opportunities”, delivered by distinguished women leaders from diverse fields.
Dr. Hargunjit Kaur, IPS, captivated the audience with her powerful insights on breaking societal barriers and fostering gender equality. She emphasized the role of resilience, education, and leadership in empowering women to excel in their chosen domains.
Dr. Reena Dua, District Attorney, Legal Bureau of Investigation Branch, Punjab Police Headquarters, shared her expertise on the legal challenges faced by women and the importance of legal awareness in ensuring women’s safety and rights. She encouraged young women to take charge of their futures by staying informed and advocating for their rights.
Dr. Kirandeep Dhaliwal, Principal of MM Institute of Nursing and Research, spoke passionately about the crucial role of education and healthcare in women’s empowerment. She highlighted the significance of self-reliance, skill development, and community engagement in fostering an inclusive society.
