“Every Story is Unique, Every Journey Matters” – Women’s Health Awareness Initiative at RIMT University

The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and RIMT Medical College & Hospital, RIMT University, jointly organised a Women’s Health Awareness Session under the inspiring theme “Every Story is Unique, Every Journey Matters.” The initiative aimed to promote awareness about women’s health issues and encourage informed discussions on preventive healthcare and early diagnosis.

During the session, Dr. Ankita Khurana, Department of Surgery, RIMT Medical College & Hospital, shared valuable insights on breast cancer awareness, the importance of regular self-examination, early diagnosis, menstrual health, and the need to break the stigma surrounding women’s health. The interactive session encouraged participants to prioritise their health, overcome social barriers, and seek timely medical guidance.

The event was graced by Dr. Sunil Katyal, Vice-Chancellor, RIMT University, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from deans, faculty members, and students from various departments.

Through this initiative, RIMT University reaffirmed its commitment to promoting health awareness, empowering women with knowledge, and fostering a supportive environment where conversations about women’s health are encouraged and valued.
