Free Legal Aid awareness workshop organized by RIMT School of Legal Studies

That on dated 6 June 2024, a workshop on the theme of Free Legal Aid awareness was organized by the RIMT School of Legal Studies, in collaboration with the District Legal Servies Authority, Fatehgarh Shahib, the chief guest was initially welcomed by Chancellor, Dr. Hukum Chand Bansal Ji, Dr. B.S. Bhatia, Pro Vice-Chancellor & Mr.Rakesh Mohan, Registrar of RIMT University. In this workshop, the Hon’ble District & Sessions Judge has apprised the students about the various provisions of free legal aid under the Indian Constitution and as well as discus the other laws. He also interacted with the students of the RIMT School of Legal Studies and motivated them to become para-legal volunteers and serve society with their knowledge. As a result, numerous students showed their interest and stepped forward for this noble cause to serve society with their knowledge. At the end of the workshop, District & Sessions Judge, Fatehgarh Sahib, Sh. Arun  Gupta Ji, his better half Smt. Bindhya Gupta Ji and Secretary, DLSA Smt. Dipti Goyal ji, has been honoured by Pro-Vice Chancellor, Sh. B.S. Bhatia ji, Dean RIMT School of Legal Studies, Dr. S.S. Salooja Ji and HOD RIMT School of Legal Studies, Dr. Jyoti Angrish ji. At this event students and faculty members of the RIMT School of Legal Studies namely Ms. Saru Sharma, Dr. Ravinderjeet Kaur, Dr. Rimpy Khullar, Dr. Mohleen Kaur, Dr. Parminder Singh, Mr. Amninder Singh and Mr. Gautam Singla, were also remained present.
