Vermicomposting site visit by Life Sciences Students

Masters (M.Sc) and Bachelors (B.Sc) students from Department of Life Sciences visited Badenpur village (Khanna) along with Dr. Ramneet Kaur (HOD) to get practical experience in Vermicomposting on 3rd Feb, 2021. The students got knowledge about decomposition process using various species of earth worms to create a mixture of nutrient-rich organic fertilizer. Also it helps in domestic waste management and changing ingredients in the vermicompost can help create compost that facilitates special requirements for plants
