About School

The School of Computing at RIMT University provides a platform to the students for designing, developing and implementing software applications. The academic curriculum helps students to develop and enhance their technical, managerial and soft skills for careers in the IT industry. Our main objective is to enhance the learning experience of students with practical experience via practical labs, internships and project works.

The school comprises twelve faculty members who are highly educated and actively involved in the overall development of students. We have ten courses including BCA, BSC CS, BSC IT, BSC Animation, PGDCA, DCA, MCA, MSC CS, MSC Animation, and diploma Animation. We are dedicated to providing a supportive, friendly, and challenging learning environment. The main focus is to establish a centre of excellence in theoretical and practical teaching to produce skilled human resources for a sustainable nation’s growth and have a technological impact on people’s life.

Our computer labs are equipped with the latest hardware and software. We are constantly updating and upgrading our systems to bring the most up-to-date exposure to our students. Many of our faculty members have spent long years solving real-world computing problems in leading industries.

The students have opportunities to explore and improve their organizational skills and group dynamics. They are inspired to participate in seminars and group discussions. With consistent and good academic performance, we encourage students to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to bring out their latent talents.

Welcome to the School of Computing, I am delighted that you are interested to know more about us. The main focus of the school is to provide an informative environment to the students so that we can produce world class computer professionals in this rapid emerging and changing field of Computer Applications. All the faculty members of the department are very well qualified and experienced. We enhance the skills of our students to meet increasing global challenges of ever evolving technologies so as to make the students acceptable to both industries and higher institution of learning. Our aim is to provide effective knowledge to the students so that they can explore and enhance their skills for the true understanding of real life issues and to create optimal computer solutions. We also pay attention on the positive attitude of students via counseling and student mentor programs. Our School endeavors to provide efficient professional opportunities to our students and also look forward to their bright future. We as a team do our best to take the school to heights of success and glory.
