NATIONAL SEMINAR ON LAW, MEDIA & SOCIETY
RIMT University School of Legal Studies organized one day seminar on “ Law, Media & Society; Interface in Contemporary India : Some Emerging Issues “ on 10th April,2018. Chairperson of Punjab State Human Rights Commission(Former Chief Justice of Patna High Court) Justice Iqbal Ahmed Ansari Inagugurated the Session.
Dr.Paramjit Singh Jaswal VC Rajiv Gandhi National Law University,Patiala presented Keynote address on this occusion and the, Dr.Sukhdarshan Singh Khera VC of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib Guest of honour presided over the function.
Vice Chancellor Dr. A.S. Chawla Welcome the Chief Guest and other dignitaries, Pro- Vice Chancellor Dr. B.S. Bhatia given the vote of thanks. Dr. Jyoti Angrish Head of the Department conducted the proceedings of function and introduced the guest to the audiences. Dr. SS. Salooja welcomed the delegates to the seminar and chairman of different technical sessions. Dr. Amita Kaushal, Dr. Gurpreet Pannu, and Dr. Monica Ahuja presided over the technical session. The delegates from far and near participated in the seminar.
