About Programme
The M.Sc. Medical Microbiology program is designed to provide advanced theoretical knowledge and practical training in the study of microorganisms responsible for human diseases. The program focuses on the biology, identification, pathogenesis, diagnosis, prevention, and control of infectious agents, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. Emphasizing laboratory diagnostics, research methodology, and emerging trends in infectious diseases, the program prepares graduates for careers in diagnostic laboratories, research institutions, public health organizations, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, and for further academic and doctoral studies.
