School of Computing organized a Talent Hunt for the new students
School of Computing organized a talent hunt for the new students of the Department of Computer Applications and the Department of Animation & Game Design on September 26, 2025, in Drone Hall, RIMT University, under the supervision of Dr. Ajay Rana, Associate Dean, School of Computing and Dr. Raj Kumar, Head, School of Computing. With over 30 participants from BCA, MCA, B.Sc (Animation & Game Design) and M.Sc (Animation & Game Design), the event showcased a wide array of creative competitions spanning Dance, Singing and Story Telling. Among the standout performers and winners, the first prize was bagged by Inderjit & Simrandeep Kaur of BCA 1st Semester. Inderjit again received 2nd prize. Prabhjot & Namita from B.Sc (Aniamtion & Game Design) got 3rd prize, 4th prize was received by Jaskiran Kaur of BCA, and 5th prize was taken by Ms. Mahi and Amandeep Kaur of MCA.
The event culminated with an award ceremony where the best performances were recognized with trophies. The judges, comprising the faculty members, encouraged them to continue grinding their talents. The immersive experience was organized and coordinated by Ms. Neha Sharma and Mr. Iqbal Singh. The event highlighted the hidden potential of many first-time performers.
