Educational Visit to IIT Ropar – A Day of Learning & Exploration!

As part of the DST-SERB initiative at IIT Ropar, students from the School of Sciences, RIMT University were invited to visit the Central Research Facility (CRF) at IIT Ropar on March 18, 2025. A group of forty students explored cutting-edge research instruments, including the High-Resolution Transmission Electron Microscope (HRTEM), Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope (LSCM), X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), and Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM).

Experts from IIT Ropar—Dr. Neetu Bansal, Dr. Dinesh Deva, Dr. Amit Kaushal, Mr. Manu Rana, Mr. Damninder Singh, Mr. Harsimranjit Singh, Mr. Kamlesh Satpute, Mr. Anuj Babbar, Mr. Manish Kumar, Mr. Abhishek Sharma, and Mr. Farooq Ahmed – conducted insightful demonstrations on surface morphology analysis, chemical composition studies, and advanced 3D imaging techniques.
