Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences Organizes Cancer Awareness Campaign at Village Ambe Majra

On the occasion of World Cancer Day, the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at RIMT University conducted an impactful awareness campaign at Village Ambe Majra. The initiative aligned with the global theme “United by Unique”, emphasizing people-centred cancer care that respects dignity, spreads awareness, and provides holistic support beyond medical treatment.

Students actively engaged with the community, educating residents about prevention, early detection, and the importance of compassionate care. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Parminder Nain, Dean of the Department, who acknowledged the collective effort of students and faculty in making the outreach meaningful and impactful.

The campaign highlighted the university’s commitment to social responsibility, community engagement, and fostering health awareness among rural populations.
