Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an Industrial Visit to Sam Automations, Mohali, Punjab (India)
“The only source of knowledge is experience.” — Albert Einstein. This Famous quote reflects the significance of the experiential learning thorough out the journey of transformation apart from the classroom studies. So, following the path of that learning, the discipline of mechanical engineering from the School of Engineering and Technology under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Ajay Singh Rana (Associate Dean, SOET) organised an Industrial Visit to the Sam Automations, Mohali(Punjab). Sam Automations, Mohali is one of the Leading training partners and offers various types consultancies services in Northern India especially in the field of Robotics, Automation, CNC, VMC and Solid works. These training imparts the advanced technical skills in the learners for getting more employment opportunities in the market. Our students learned more about advancements and use of Robotics in the Industrial sectors. This session also bridged the gap for academia cum Industry interaction that are more helpful if looking at the point of Industry 4.O constraints and on the path for “Viksit Bharat”. The successful execution of this visit was made possible through the meticulous planning and coordination efforts of Dr. Sachin Saini (Associate Prof., ME), Er. Simranjit Singh (Workshop Supdtt.), Er. Rasphal Singh, Er.Harinder Singh Saini, Er. Jagdeep and Er. Sukhwinder Singh of the department. We extend our sincere gratitude to Er.
