BBA & B.Com Students Gain Industry Exposure at Neva Garments, Ludhiana
In a step towards bridging the gap between academia and industry, students from the BBA and B.Com programs,School of Management Studies & Commerce, RIMT University embark on anindustrial visit to Neva Garments, Ludhiana, a renowned name in the apparel industry. The visit was organized to provide students with practical insights into manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and corporate operations.

A group of 41 students, accompanied by faculty members, arrived at Neva Garments’ manufacturing unit early in the morning. They were welcomed by the company’s Head Personnel & Admin, Mr. S.M Sidhu, who provided an overview of the company’s history, growth, and current market position. During the visit, the students were given a guided tour of the production units, where they observed cutting-edge garment manufacturing techniques, quality control processes, and the latest advancements in textile technology. Industry experts at Neva Garments also interacted with the students, sharing valuable knowledge about business strategies, market trends, and sustainable practices in the fashion and apparel industry.
The visit concluded with a Q&A session, where students engaged with company representatives, gaining practical exposure to business operations, supply chain dynamics, and the importance of innovation in the textile industry.

Dr. Vishal Vinayak, faculty coordinator of the industrial visit program, commended the initiative for providing students with a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical industry experience.
