About Programme
The M.A. in International Relations & Security is a multidisciplinary program designed to prepare students for leadership and analytical roles in an increasingly complex global environment. The program combines rigorous theoretical foundations with practical, policy-oriented training in international politics, security studies, diplomacy, and strategic analysis. Students engage with contemporary global challenges such as conflict and peacebuilding, national and international security, geopolitical competition, terrorism, cyber and emerging security threats, and international governance. Emphasizing critical thinking, research excellence, and real-world applicability, the program equips graduates with the skills needed for careers in government, international organizations, think tanks, security institutions, and related fields, as well as for advanced academic study.

Programme Education Objectives (PEOs)
- PEO1 To create, apply and disseminate knowledge of the language, literature, folklore, culture, and manuscripts of Hindi domain under different specializations.
- PEO2 To develop the ability to identify, formulate and analyze in theatrical and practical domains of Hindi language, literature, culture, and folklore.
- PEO3 To develop the attitude to peruse further research in Hindi language, literature and culture.
Programme Specific Outcomes (PSOs)
- PSO1 Research scholars will get understand the relations of history, society, culture, and human behavior with literature.
- PSO2 Research scholars will be aware of the skill of developing intercultural tensions, literary creations, impressive elaboration, and explanation as well.
- PSO3 Research scholars will get knowledge about medieval Punjabi poetry (Gurmat, Sufi, Kissa ate Vaar).

Graduates of the M.A. in International Relations & Security are well prepared for a wide range of professional careers in both public and private sectors.
