About Department
The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering is committed to provide quality professional education to endeavoring Engineers. Young Engineers are facilitated to gain advanced technical exposure in the field of Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Along with technical exposure, students also develop the necessary social and human intellectual qualities for successful practice of profession. The department has well equipped state of the art laboratories to provide the students with the necessary and sufficient practical knowledge. Students are prepared as professional Engineers through an education of real application and Design. Students are encouraged to try out their innovative research and development ideas. Industry Experts are regularly invited to give lectures/demonstrations to the students on the advanced developments in the Electronics and Communication field. Students are given exposure to industries by industrial visits and industrial training session. The department has well experienced and dedicated faculty members and aims to impart sound knowledge and awareness in the latest trends in the field of Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Welcome to the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering in School of Engineering, RIMT University. Beginning our journey from year 2001, we achieved the trust and faith of our students and continuing this approach with dream of achieving excellence in the field of education. Over the decades, we have grown our expertise and competence in the core Electrical Engineering and Electronics curriculum. The primary focus of our curriculum is to impart practical knowledge -how our students can apply the theory in real life problem and promote their problem-solving skills and innovation of new technologies. The students are encouraged to undertake various research projects.
As we have state of the art research facilities in the constitution with industry to support our academic programs. Our department has a distinguished record in both teaching and research with a motive of solving the technological challenges of the society.
