RIMT University students attended the “SHE COHORT 3.0: Tech Startup Connect & Grow Workshop Series”

The female students and faculty members from the School of Biosciences attended the “SHE COHORT 3.0: Tech Startup Connect & Grow Workshop Series” on February 5, 2025, at the Auditorium, Department of Physics, Panjab University, Sector-14, Chandigarh. This program, organized by the PU-IIT Ropar Regional Accelerator for Holistic Innovations Foundation (PI-RAHI) in collaboration with the Punjab State Council for Science & Technology (PSCST), aimed to empower and nurture early-stage, women-led tech startups in Punjab, assisting them in transforming innovative ideas into commercially viable products.

The workshop featured women entrepreneurs who shared valuable insights into entrepreneurship and start up growth. It provided an excellent platform for the attending female students and faculty members, offering significant exposure to the world of technology-driven entrepreneurship.

In addition to the workshop, the students visited the Dept. of Biotechnology, Panjab Univ., where they observed various instruments and learned about their operational procedures in the laboratory. They also had the opportunity to interact with Prof. Kashmir Singh, HoD, Dept. of Biotechnology and Coordinator of the DST-Centre for Policy Research.
