National Seminar on “Labour Welfare Under Modern Labour Legislations”
School of Legal studies organized a National Seminar on “Labour Welfare Under Modern Labour Legislations” at RIMT University, sponsored by ICSSR (Indian Council of Social Science Research) where the seminar was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kaushik, Director (Hon.) Indian Council of Social Science Research, Northwestern Regional Centre, Chandigarh. The keynote speaker of the seminar was Prof. (Dr.) Anu Mehra, Delhi University, and Mr. Ranjan Khullar, ADJ, Mohali preside the session and guest of Honour Manpreet Kaur, CJM-cum Secretary Legal Aid, Fatehgarh Sahib.
Dr. Jyoti Angrish, (HOD) School of Legal Studies present vote of thanks for the chief guests and all the dignitaries of the university and discussed the economic, social, physiological, and other various perspectives of Labor welfare.
Dr. B.S. Bhatia, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, welcomed the dignitaries of seminar and enlightening the lamp along with the other dignitaries. He further laid more importance on the Labour welfare under the modern labour legislations in an organization. Dr. S.P.S Salooja, Dean of RSOLS discuss about the seminar and also addressed the participants. Dr. Salooja discussed the labor laws which make them aware of their rights so that they can overcome their exploitation.
