Industrial exposure activity organized by School of Management Studies & Commerce

RIMT University – School of Management Studies & Commerce students, visited the Verka Milk Plant in Patiala, as a part of the Industrial exposure activity.

During the visit, the company officials briefed the students with the sourcing of raw material policy and showed the storage vessels. Then, students were taken to the assembly line where the processed milk was being packed as per the category. Later the outbound logistics process was explained and the distribution of packed milk was shown. The visit was aimed at providing exposure to in-depth analysis of production operations & marketing strategy being followed by the company. Students got first-hand information regarding the manufacturing, processing and packaging of milk, curd and cheese. Students were very excited as they practically experienced the whole process.
