About Programme
MCA is a 2-year professional post-graduate program. This program is for candidates who want to dive further into computer application development by learning modern programming languages and tools. The program consists of 4 semesters in which students are trained in software programming & application development.The program provides a substantial understanding of concepts in key areas of computer science with the latest industry and business best practices. The course aims to prepare students for a flourishing corporate IT culture with exposure to recent trends and technologies. MCA education focuses on learning programming constructs and application modeling. The MCA degree offers students the opportunity to work with tools designed to build better and faster applications.
Eligibility & Admission
Passed BCA / B.Sc. (Computer Science) / B.Sc. (IT) / B.E. (CSE) / B.Tech. (CSE) / B.E. (IT) / B.Tech. (IT) or equivalent Degree. OR Passed any graduation degree (e.g.: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc / B.Com. / B.A. / B. Voc./ etc.,) preferably with Mathematics / Statistics/ Quantatative techniques at 10+2 level or at Graduation level Obtained at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination.

Students can work for an IT company as system developers and in various other roles. Employment areas include banking, consultancies, database management, desktop publishing, design support and data communications, e-commerce, embedded technologies, government agencies, computer networking, schools and colleges, simulation, software development companies, security and surveillance companies, stock exchanges, system maintenance, technical support and traffic light management.
