Dr. Jyoti Angrish

With 17 years of extensive experience in teaching, research, university administration, legal consultancy and labour law matters, Jyoti Angrish is a distinguished senior law faculty. She has successfully guided  Ph.D. scholars and has contributed significantly to legal academia with three edited books for RIMT University & Editor of  RIMT Law Journal published Bianually and over 30 research papers.

Profile Overview

Dr. Jyoti Angrish is a distinguished law faculty with 17 years of teaching and research experience, complimented by 20 years in legal consultancy, labour law matters and Industrial Tribunal work. She began her career at Panjab College of Law, Patiala, and has dedicated significant time to Bhai Gurdas College of Law, Sangrur, before her current role at RIMT University.

Dr. Angrish has played a pivotal role in developing and launching law programs at the university and has managed various legal consultancy and research grants sponsored by government body such as ICSSR. She served as the Coordinator for the NSS at RIMT University, fostering student development through various cultural events.

Her academic contributions include editing three books and publishing approximately 30 research papers in reputable journals. She has successfully supervised  Ph.D. candidates on their research topics. Dr. Angrish has organized numerous legal development initiatives, including free legal aid awareness camps in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority, as well as various national and international seminars, workshops, and conferences, often serving as co-chair for multiple sessions.

 

In addition, she has served as the NAAC (Criteria 5) Coordinator at RIMT University and has contributed educational content by uploading lectures on platforms like YouTube and Moodle/TeamApp.
