About Programme
MA (Punjabi) is a postgraduate Punjabi language programme. Here, there is live wire interaction among thinkers, writers and teachers on one hand, and between the intellectuals and the students on the other hand, ensuring that the programme plays an important role in Punjabi literature and culture’s dynamic transformation throughout.

Programme Education Objectives (PEOs)
- PEO1 To create, apply and disseminate knowledge of the language, literature, folklore, culture, and manuscripts of Punjabi domain under different specializations.
- PEO2 To develop the ability to identify, formulate and analyze in theatrical and practical domains of Punjabi language, literature, culture, and folklore.
- PEO3 To develop the attitude to peruse further research in Punjabi language, literature and culture.
Programme Specific Outcomes (PSOs)
- PSO1 Research scholars will get understand the relations of history, society, culture, and human behavior with literature.
- PSO2 Research scholars will be aware of the skill of developing intercultural tensions, literary creations, impressive elaboration, and explanation as well.
- PSO3 Research scholars will get knowledge about medieval Punjabi poetry (Gurmat, Sufi, Kissa ate Vaar).
