About Programme
MA Hindi programme is a two-year postgraduate programme with the focus on Hindi language and literature. This program’s primary objective is to introduce students to the Hindi language and literature. The focus of the course is on Hindi literature, languages, and philosophy.

Programme Education Objectives (PEOs)
- PEO1 To create, apply and disseminate knowledge of the language, literature, folklore, culture, and manuscripts of Hindi domain under different specializations.
- PEO2 To develop the ability to identify, formulate and analyze in theatrical and practical domains of Hindi language, literature, culture, and folklore.
- PEO3 To develop the attitude to peruse further research in Hindi language, literature and culture.
Programme Specific Outcomes (PSOs)
- PSO1 Research scholars will get understand the relations of history, society, culture, and human behavior with literature.
- PSO2 Research scholars will be aware of the skill of developing intercultural tensions, literary creations, impressive elaboration, and explanation as well.
- PSO3 Research scholars will get knowledge about medieval Punjabi poetry (Gurmat, Sufi, Kissa ate Vaar).

Students can pursue an Ph.D in Hindi or in a related field after completing an MA in Hindi.
