International Women’s day celebrated in RIMT University

RIMT University Internal Complaint Committee along with Department of Student Welfare celebrated the International Women’s day. The event was kicked off with the addressing note by Dr. Jyoti Angrish HOD, RIMT School of Legal Studies. Dr. Angrish glorified the inevitable gender role of women in the society and described the women as backbone of the family. The students also delivered the speeches about the achievements of the women at the national and international level as well. The occasion’s attraction was the painting and quiz competitions, which were successfully organized by the faculty coordinators comprising Dr. Rajkumar, Dr. Ravinderjeet Kaur, Ms. Anureet and Ms. Nisha. More than 40 students enthusiastically took part in the painting competition. The student from the School of Education secured the first prize. The eight teams competed in quiz competition, but the first prize was won by the students from RIMT School of Legal Studies. The event was concluded with the vote of thanks given by the Dr. Nitin Thaper Dean Students welfare & Ms. Harjit Kaur NSS Coordinator also present in this occasion.
