Sculpture Workshop by School of Art & Design

School of Art & Design have organized the three days workshop from 2nd-4th March 2022 . On the first Day the workshop was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor and Director Academics, RIMT UNIVERSITY. Further the artist interacted with the students about the basics of sculpture art, anatomy and armature etc. Students have been divided into groups and the basic purpose is to create best out of waste sculptures. Different materials and e-waste is used for the installation of sculpture.

On the second day artist taught students about the usage of white cement for the wall emblements. Along with that a life sized model was also sculptured by artist along with students to be installed in university premises.

On the concluding day artist Mr. Tejinder Singh also taught the technique to mould bee wax for the sculpture making. Students also prepared some sculptures which were displayed and exhibit for the university. Three teams amongst them were also awarded for their extraordinary efforts in the workshop. Felicitation ceremony was done by the Hod of the department along with the faculty members. The workshop proved to be an ignition to the creativity amongst the students.
