5th International Conference on Contemporary Trends in Multi-Disciplinary Research: Sustainability, Challenges, and Strategies
RIMT University organized the 5th International Conference on Contemporary Trends in Multi-Disciplinary Research: Sustainability, Challenges, and Strategies. The conference covers various sub-themes like R&D trends in various disciplines like Sciences, Engineering, Technology, Agriculture, Communication, Management, Humanities & Social Sciences, Education, etc. It also covers the issues like application of research, technology transfer, policy issues, etc which will help in the elimination of poverty, and unemployment and improve the delivery of healthcare facilities leading to the upliftment of Socio-economic conditions.
The Keynote speaker will be Dr. Karamjeet Singh, Vice Chancellor of Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University, Patiala, Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Founder Coordinator and later Director of the University Institute of Applied Management Sciences, Punjab University, Dr. Upasana Sharma, Director of Punjabi university Regional Centre for Information Technology and Management, Mohali, Prof. D.P Goyal, Director IIM Shilong, Dr. Jibanananda Mishra, Head of School of Basic Applied and BioSciences, and the Chief Patron of the conference will be Dr. Hukam Chand Bansal, Chancellor, and Dr. V.K Agarwal, Pro-Chancellor, Dr. B.S Bhatia, Vice-Chancellor inaugurated the conference by enlightening the lamp along with the other dignitaries.
Hukum Chand Bansal, Chancellor of the university, inaugurated the conference. He focused on the importance of research these days, as industry demands researchers for advancement.
Dr. Vijay Agarwal, Pro-chancellor of the university welcome all the dignitaries, delegates, and research scholars and addressed them by sharing his lifelong experiences of research.
Dr. B.S. Bhatia, Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University welcomes everyone and also gave a formal address to the other eminent dignitaries present over there. He discussed the theme of the conference in detail and encouraged the research scholars to present at such international conferences and also advised them to use the thematic approach during their presentations. Nearly 150 participants comprising Delegates from various universities and colleges, Research scholars, and Post Graduate students from different Colleges and Universities come to the Conference and deliberate on the current trends in research and suggest strategies. Dr. Santosh Bali, Assistant Professor, and Coordinator of Research gave a vote of thanks to all the speakers and the research scholars.
