About Course

The Electrical Engineering has been playing a vital role in producing scientists and technologists of the highest caliber. The ever challenging needs of technological excellence in all the major areas of Electrical Engineering. RIMT’s strong u programme in Electrical Engineering is complemented by world class infrastructure & teaching facilities. The infrastructure and lab facilities are up to the international standards and provide adequate opportunities for students and researchers to learn and innovate the technological skills.

Eligibility & Admission

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject.

Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

Learning Outcomes

  • Knowledge of Mathematics, Science and technology to solve the complex problems in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

  • Ability to design and develop solutions for real-life Electrical Engineering problems.

  • Ability to work as Electrical Engineer capable of identifying solutions to various problems faced by the society with ability to upkeep professional ethics and social values.

  • Development of ability to take up administrative responsibilities involving both project and financial management confidently.

The Job opportunities for these graduates  includes variety of fields ranging from government Engineer in various sectors including power system, GET in many Navratna and Maharatna Companies such as SAIL, NHPC and NTPC. These graduates can also opt for higher studies like ME/M. Tech. in subjects such as electrical energy and power systems engineering and many more.
