About Course

This M.Tech program is an integrated study of dealing with advanced solutions related to research & innovation required for the industries related to Integrated Circuit design. This programme will cover the fundamentals and advanced techniques of designing and developing IC based systems. The curriculum is designed to develop hands-on skills for designing semiconductor devices and circuits& related components.

Eligibility & Admission

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant field.

Obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category)

Learning Outcomes

  • To acquire skills to develop the competence with quantitative and qualitative methods in relation to the domain.

  • An ability to identify, formulates, solve, analyze and interpret engineering problems.

  • An ability to design a system to work with realistic constraints to meet real world problems.

  • An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.

With recent advancements in areas such as hardware software co-design, an architecture for machine intelligence, network on chip etc., VLSI Design is fast emerging as a promising professional field.
