About Programme
The focus in this discipline is on understanding electronic networks and devices, electric magnetic fields, computer fundamentals, communication and control systems. Electronics and Communication Engineering uses the scientific knowledge of the behaviour and effects of electronics to develop components, devices, systems and equipment. It deals with recent trends in communication technology via wire/wireless networks, circuit designs and microcontrollers.
Eligibility & Admission
Pass in 10+2 Science or vocational Technical or Pass in 10th (ITI) or Pass in ITI at least with one year with 50% aggregate marks.

Career Prospects
Students have access to jobs in Government and private companies for installation, operation and maintenance of Electronic equipments and systems. These comprise defence, space research, AIR, civil aviation and the police wireless departments, not to mention. They get to design and develop complex devices and systems for signal processing and telecommunication. Students are preferred candidates for IT companies, find openings in the entertainment transmission industry, UPS companies, at times get appointed as technical and research assistant in Silicon Valley companies and engineering colleges in India and abroad. Diploma holders in ECE are also eligible to take admission to 2nd year B.E. courses in the relevant disciplines.
