About Course
This specialize VLSI program will cover the fundamentals and engineering aspect of designing and developing IC based systems. VLSI technology requires research in physical devices as well as novel design and development of electronic circuits. The program will focus on developing hands-on skill of designing semiconductor devices and circuits, architecting systems using embedded components such as, CPU, memory and peripherals. Students will be trained in several topics that cut across different domain, starting from lowermost level of physical devices to the top level of application development.
Eligibility & Admission
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject.
Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.Â

To design, simulate, implement & test complex digital systems using FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Arrays).
The main objectives of the program is to analyse the electrical and design characteristics of transistors, gates and study the issues & methodologies involved in the integration of these devices into complex high performance systems.
