Let us think of education as the means of developing our greatest abilities, because in each of us, there is a hope and dream which is yet to be fulfilled. That can be translated in to benefit for everyone in the civilized society and greater strength for our "NATION" and it takes someone special to be an educator; a person who cares for others, and aims to help students to fulfill their inherent potentials. The best teacher is capable, dedicated, and hard Working, along with an interest in making a substantial difference in the future of Student Community & making them globally recognized. RIMT University, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences has a lively and encouraging academic environment in which faculties and students interact to the fullest. All of us are connected by an interest in field of pharmacy striving hard to serve the society by educating and implementing research to prevent and treat disease. The new facility is well on the way of helping future pharmacists learn in an innovative way. I, along with my faculty intend to build a concrete foundation for students which will encourage them to achieve success in the field of pharmacy which in turn will help the community.
Message to parents
Entering of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, RIMT University is a big transition for most students and for their families as well. First year is a time to explore new programs, courses and experiences. Until now parents have likely been very involved in ward's education, they helped them take important decisions, but from the moment students are admitted to the institute, they are treated as adults, in the sense that, for all academic, financial and other matters, Institute deals directly with the students, but not with their parents. This is an obligation and an important part of their development into responsible citizens. Parents are hereby advised to encourage their wards to become more independent during their Institute experience to allow them to succeed in Institution and near future. The concept of "doing the best" rather than "being the best" should be promoted.
Parents should also encourage the on-campus involvement of their wards, to use library facilities, explore the internet, participate in association activities, games and other activities outside of classroom, because, such students tend to perform better academically as well. School of Pharmaceutical Sciences does every possible thing to create and develop ragging-free rich scholarly environment where students can feel safe to learn, work and live.
Bottom-line is, parents should continue to demonstrate love and patience while their wards goes through this major transition and celebrate their discoveries and successes with them.
