DIPLOMA IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING (LEET)

Almost anything that relates to motion, whether machines or a structure, involves the brain of a mechanical engineer. A study in mechanical engineering hence, equips students with this basic knowledge of movement and the power/energy involved, makes it possible. The scope of the study and the flexibility of career choice enjoyed by this field of engineering is unmatched by any other field. Mechanical engineering study is applied in the design and control of systems and processes involved in manufacturing plants, automobiles, aircrafts, machine tools, air-conditioning, refrigeration, boilers, power plants, fuel processing, creation of new materials, process design, and the manufacture of a wide array of products ranging from home appliances to medical devices.

Eligibility and admission

Pass in 10+2 Science on vocational Technical or Pass in 10th (ITI) or Pass in ITI at least with one year with 50% aggregate marks.

The programme gives quality education on manufacturing and production processes. It enhances the productivity and quality of manufacturing student. The students are giving exposure to mechanical drafting, modification of existing design, designing, estimating and costing, how to operate various machines and their maintenance.
