Workshop on IoT

MANDI GOBINDGARH, 10 OCTOBER, 2018

Department of Computer Science & Engineering and Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering in collaboration with NSIC(National Small Industry Corporation Ltd.) started one week workshop for the students on IoT from 9thOctober 2018. The workshop is coordinated by Ms. Shubhangi and will be conducted by Mr. Devinder pal who will explore the usage of IoT.

The Head of Computer Science and Engineering, Dr. Ashish Oberoi said that this workshop will definitely bridge the gap between Industry and academia and will update the students with latest trends in industry. Further this is a step towards the Skill development schemes (MSME)implementation for the students which is initiated by our honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narender Modi.

The Vice chancellor Dr. A. S. Chawla highlighted the role of these workshops across the globe thereby making the students industry ready.In parallel Department of Mechanical Engineering has also started a workshop on Auto CAD in collaboration with NSIC. Special thanks from the School of Engineering to The Chancellor Dr. Hukum Chand Bansal, the Vice Chancellor Dr. A.S. Chawla and Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. BS Bhatia for their unprecedented support and guidance in taking this initiative.
