Electrical Engineering student design Unmanned Aircraft


Mr. Charandeep Singh student of electrical engineering of RIMT University demonstrated his own designed electronically controlled Unmanned Aerial Vehicle / Unmanned Aircraft. It is the passion of Mr. Charandeep Singh which has been successfully converted into the live aircraft project. The Unmanned Aircraft is expected to fly with Azimuth range of 1 KM radius and Elevation range of 250 meter height.

The Founder and Chairman of RIMT, Dr. Hukum Chand Bansal highly appreciated the project developed by the student. The Vice-Chancellor Dr. A.S. Chawla praised Incubation Centre, Electronics Department and Electrical Department for supporting such activities.

Mr. Ajay Singh Rana (HoD – ME) said that design will be shared with HAL and NAL for further improvements. Mrs. Monika Mehra (HoD – ECE) motivated the students to learn the advance technologies through this project. The Embedded guide Mr. R.P Singh, Technical Head of Incubation Centre said that the principle of IoT will be also used to get the sensors data and in near future the Unmanned Aircraft will be loaded with different sensors and thermal imaging cameras which will be as aid for surveillance and monitoring of different applications. Dr. Manjeet Verma and Mr. Dharmendra Kumar , Assistant Professors of Electrical Engineering supported the student during the project execution.
