Seminar on International day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking.

RIMT University organized a seminar on “International day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking” raising awareness about the dangers posed by illicit drugs to the society and individual users.

Wherein Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Jaspreet Singh (IAS) explained in detail about the importance of the day which serves as a reminder of the need to fight the problems posed by illicit drugs.

Dr. AS Chawla vice chancellor RIMT University also educated the students about the symptoms of drug abuse and its impact in the society, he said drug abuse can lead to social disturbances, like theft, burglary, snatching, street crime, familial disharmony and law and order problems.
