M.Tech - Electrical Vehicle Technology

The course aims to train eligible students to design, develop, manufacture, simulate, and maintain vehicles and automobile systems and to enable such engineers to explore new areas and create new avenues in the field of R&D and to focus on developing in such Automobile Engineers new skills in technology and business management.

Eligibility and admission

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant field.

Obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category)

The 2 years’ duration is divided into 4 semesters, with each semester lasting a period of 6 months. During the first two semesters, students face different sets of theoretical subjects and practical lab sessions associated with those subjects. In case of the last two semesters, along with few theoretical subjects, students will also have to take care of project work and thesis.

This course prepares students to work professionally in the area of power electronics, electric drives and motor control related fields. Students should be able to apply knowledge of mathematics and engineering, and identify formulas to solve engineering problem. It also help student to become Entrepreneur in the long run.
