RIMT University and IBM partner towards a Technology ArchetypeMANDI GOBINDGARH, 12 April, 2018
RIMT University , Mandi Gobindgarh and IBM have signed a agreement that will reinvent the Information Technology education in India, at the graduation level. RIMT and IBM are coming together to launch a series of new, futuristic Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) CSE courses which are industry-aligned. A new delivery mechanism is being put in place to enable the students to learn industry – relevant skill sets.
As a part of the agreement, RIMT and IBM India will partner to up-skill students by introducing ‘B.Tech in CSE ’ on the technologies which are in most demand in the IT industry. In addition, the courses will provide professionals skill on IT solutions and industry vertical domain technologies . The students will get benefit from the innovative new course and ensuring the students become future-ready.
The four full-time B.Tech in CSE courses with following specializations to be offered from the academic session July 2018 in the first phase of this agreement:
B.Tech in CSE with Specialization in Cyber Security & Forensics
B.Tech in CSE with specialization in Cloud Computing & Virtualization
B.Tech in CSE with specialization in Mainframe Technology
B.Tech in CSE with specialization in Data Analytics
The B.Tech courses aim to ensure that students trained and accredited at the RIMT will be ready for the requirements of the IT industry, which in turn will enhance their employability in the industry and deployment in to relevant client projects.
