The aviation industry in the country has a bright outlook. The way the Indian economy is growing and revolutionary changes are being brought up in the field of aviation, the industry is likely to grow manifolds in the years to come. It is natural that in the coming years the aviation industry will be in need of large and competent manpower to manage its resources across hundreds of airports spread all over the country. Known by various terms such as airlines, aviation and airport management, it deals with managing services at an airport, fire safety, security, ticketing, cargo handling, ground handling of aircrafts, aircraft operations, dangerous goods handling and planning every other activity related to flying in an airport.
In this four year programme across eight semesters, teachers engage with the class as part of student centric teaching. All students in the class are important to the faculty. Innovation is an integral part of teaching. Students gain hands-on experience through sessions in the lab that supplement programme-work.
