The knowledge of Social Work is the central theme in the areas like community development and social welfare. There is a lot of scope after graduating in this course can get into diverse sectors of healthcare, social care, charity and voluntary work, to name a few.
The course has been more or less flexibly designed, allowing students to specialize in a particular subject or to develop knowledge and skills by means of a combination of subjects including Geography, Sociology, Criminology, Psychology, Politics, and Economics.
The course includes allied concepts such as Psychology, Sociology, and Cultural Anthropology. Students enrolled in the course develop research and communication skills while also learning how people interact with various environments and settings.
