Course Overview

One of the oldest and broadest engineering branches, B. Tech (Hons) - Mechanical Engineering involves designing, development, production and use of mechanical tools to solve mechanical issues. Studying Mechanical Engineering is the dream of nearly every student, due to a variety of reasons.

Eligibility and admission

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry /Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject.

Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

The degree is conferred following the successful completion of its duration which is typically four years. The course normally consists of eight semesters which incorporate practical training, workshops, and projects.
