B.Sc. (Fisheries Sciences)

B.Sc Fisheries Sciences is an UG programme. It is the science that is involved in managing, catching, processing, marketing and conservation of Fish. The duration of Bachelor of Fisheries Sciences course is four years spread over a number of semesters which are mostly eight in numbers. The course is also known as B.Sc. (Fisheries). The course studies habits and breeding of various species of fish. It involves farming and husbandry of important fishes and aquatic organisms in fresh water, brackish water and any marine environment. The course is very valuable and important for farm and fish communities and provides a lot of career scopes after its completion.
